CPD Workshop with Eek & Wild

Eek & Wild are a contemporary dance company making vibrant, engaging, joy-filled dance for children and their grown-ups. They have been Artists in Residence at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital for four years where they perform their choice-based work ‘Pick ‘n’ Mix’ on the Paediatric wards and in waiting areas. Eek have also performed in Birmingham Women’s and Children’s hospital, as a walkabout act at festivals and are mid-way through a project at Milton Keynes University Hospital which celebrates the hospitals’ art collection.

Workshop description:

The workshop will consist of:

• A playful and uplifting warm up class

• Demonstrations of our choice-based practice

• Learning repertoire from ‘Pick ‘n’ Mix’ and ‘the sculptures that couldn’t keep still’
