About the event
Daniel Lukehurst is a British choreographer based in Birmingham, UK. As a choreographer,
they make work that is highly physical, presenting abstract ideas in a grounded, personal
way. Their highly physical & thoughtful work has been performed across the UK and they
have worked with dancers across Europe as both a choreographer and rehearsal director.
A contact improvisation specialist, their work blends contact, physical theatre, music, visual
art, and text to create a unique approach to performance work. Daniel is also one of the
