Brum Pro Class with Angharad Jones-Young

Angharad Jones-Young is a contemporary dancer and teacher based in Birmingham. She trained at the Northern School of Contemporary Dance. Since graduating in 2021, Angharad has toured nationally and internationally with companies including National Dance Company Wales, ACE dance & music, Autin Dance Theatre, Ransack Dance Company and Keneish Dance. Alongside performing, Angharad has a strong passion for dance teaching. She is a contemporary dance lecturer at Performers College. Other teaching credits include British Ballet Organisation, Elmhurst Ballet School, Black Country Dance Hub, FABRIC, Grace & Poise Academy, Synergy Dance and Dance Collective CIC.

CLASS DESCRIPTION

Driven by upbeat music, Angharad’s class is highly physical, energetic and empowering. Her classes predominantly focus on dynamic, fluid floorwork, exploring how to move in and out of the floor through spirals, twists and turns. Her classes also incorporate strength and conditioning exercises alongside standing movement sequences.
