This introductory workshop with dance producer Callum Holt, will cover the essential things you need to know to get your dance project off the ground. Drawing on his various producing experiences in dance & in other art forms, in this workshop you will:

- Learn how to plan a project and design a budget for it, identifying hidden costs & pitfalls you might not necessarily think about and finding ways you can generate income through your work

- Develop a knowledge of what tasks are often allocated to producers, & how you can best make sure these tasks get done both when self-producing & when working with someone else

- Gain an understanding of the different kinds of funding available, and what you need to have in place to access them.
